Our Inspiration

Seattle Information Systems is proud to subscribe to E.A. Codman’s “The End Results Idea, which was merely the common-sense notion that every hospital should follow every patient it treats, long enough to determine whether or not the treatment has been successful, and then to inquire "if not, why not?" with a view to preventing similar failures in future."

- E.A. Codman 1934.

How does Prosk work?

The SIS patient reported outcomes management tool allows for automated data collection through the implementation of easy-to-use touch-screen kiosks and tablets. Patients can either sit at a kiosk station or clinical staff members distribute the electronic tablet to patients. Patients complete the surveys via touch screen entry. The surveys are scored in real time and the data is stored in an on-site secure database system. A 1-page outcomes report is generated and printed on location. Health care providers and patients are able to immediately benefit from the diagnostic power of the 1-page outcomes report during the patient visit with negligible impact on the time of the clinical staff and the overall patient cycle.
